Another working meeting between the EEU and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)

On the initiative of the East European University (EEU) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), a working meeting was held on February 11 of this year, which was attended by representatives of the Information Medical-Psychological Center “Tanadgoma” and seven public and private universities.
The EEU Physical, Mental and Social Well-being Research Center (PMSW) continues to collaborate with the United Nations Population Fund and higher education institutions so that as many young people as possible can receive knowledge about well-being and personal safety.

The East European University (EEU) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has developed two syllabi intended for the Master of Education Administration and the 60-credit teacher training educational programs. Georgian and foreign experts were involved in the process of developing the syllabus: Rector of the East European University, Professor Kakhaber Lazarashvili and Professor Peter Agleton (Great Britain). The mentioned courses are elective modules, which can also be integrated into the programs as mandatory subjects.

The East European University, together with the United Nations Population Fund, presented the syllabuses to interested universities and discussed the possibility of introducing them into the curricula. After the integration of the courses into the programs, the process of retraining the academic staff involved in teaching the course will begin.
