On 25 July 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)<\/strong> Georgia Office and the East European University (EEU)<\/strong>. The Memorandum was signed by the Head of UNFPA Georgia Office, Mariam Bandzeladze<\/strong>, and the Rector of the East European University, Kakhaber Lazarashvili.<\/strong><\/p>

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has been working for many years to ensure that adolescents in schools and higher education institutions have access to age-appropriate information on health and personal safety.<\/p>

According to the Memorandum, the parties agree to cooperate to ensure the integration of health and personal safety education into the curricula, which includes both the 5-year integrated teacher education program and the mandatory or elective course of the Master of Education Management\/Master of Science program.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
